Dear Members and Guests from Japan and Korea,
It is my great honor to be the 36th President of the Korea-Japan Urological Congress (KJUC).
Since our first meeting in Kobe, Japan in 1984, our society has contributed to build up not only academic but friendly bridges among urologists in two countries. We have convened the congress alternatively, that is, Korea has been in charge of hosting the odd years and Japan has been in charge of hosting the even years. I appreciate deeply to our senior members for their contribution to development and maintenance of this meeting.
We, Japan and Korea, are two of the most outstanding Asian countries in the field of clinical and basic research of Urology. With these meetings, I wish we could deepen our relationships and also transfer our inspirations to the next generation. I look forward to seeing everyone in Seoul this September.
